CareerStride uses AI to assist users, but AI outputs require human review and should not be treated as guaranteed career advice.

How CareerStride Uses AI
CareerStride uses AI to help organize career data, summarize user-provided information, generate drafts, score fit signals, recommend next steps, and support Maya's coaching workflows. AI may assist with resumes, cover letters, interview preparation, LinkedIn drafts, networking drafts, job matching, compensation preparation, and weekly planning.
Maya Is AI-Assisted
Maya is the user-facing coach experience. Behind Maya, CareerStride may route requests through specialist capabilities, model providers, retrieval systems, scoring rules, and workflow tools. Users do not need to interact with separate backend agents.
Human Review Is Required
- You must review and approve every resume, cover letter, LinkedIn draft, message, application answer, negotiation script, and external-use artifact before using it.
- CareerStride does not automatically apply, post, message, connect, or negotiate for you.
- AI outputs may be wrong, incomplete, outdated, biased, or unsuitable for a specific employer, country, role, or situation.
No Guaranteed Outcomes
CareerStride may provide job-match estimates, readiness signals, compensation benchmarks, profile feedback, and improvement suggestions. These are decision-support tools, not guarantees. CareerStride does not guarantee interviews, job offers, promotion, salary increases, immigration outcomes, employer decisions, or background-check outcomes.
Not Professional Advice
CareerStride is not a law firm, financial advisor, mental health provider, medical provider, immigration advisor, recruiter of record, or employer. Maya may provide general career-support prompts, reflection questions, grounding exercises, or non-clinical support, but CareerStride does not provide therapy, diagnosis, or treatment.
Evidence And Benchmarks
CareerStride may use external benchmarks, public salary data, job-post data, user-provided data, internal product data, and anonymized aggregate signals to support recommendations. Benchmarks are directional and may not reflect every employer, industry, geography, or negotiation context.
Data Used By AI
AI workflows may use resumes, LinkedIn-derived data, job preferences, Story Bank entries, transcripts, documents, job descriptions, feedback, and product usage signals to personalize outputs. CareerStride does not intentionally store raw user voice recordings for the MVP. Text transcripts, summaries, and derived memory may be stored to power the service.
Model Routing And Cost Controls
CareerStride may route requests to different AI, transcription, text-to-speech, search, or scraping providers based on task type, quality needs, availability, cost, plan, and safety controls. More expensive models may be reserved for tasks where quality materially matters.
Plans and promotional cohorts may include usage budgets for high-cost features such as voice, advanced AI generation, diagnostic processing, or deep research. These controls help keep the service reliable and financially sustainable.
User Responsibility
- Verify claims before adding them to a resume, profile, post, message, or application.
- Do not submit fabricated achievements, credentials, salary history, employment history, or references.
- Do not share employer-confidential data, trade secrets, or third-party personal information without authorization.
- Use judgment before acting on AI-generated advice, especially in high-stakes employment, legal, financial, immigration, health, or safety situations.
Feedback And Improvement
Users may provide feedback on AI outputs, accept or reject suggestions, and choose preferred drafts. CareerStride may use this feedback to improve prompts, routing, quality checks, product behavior, and user personalization.
